At HAELAN GAMBLING RECOVERY CENTER, we will provide compassionate residential treatment for individuals with gambling addiction, addressing physical, psychological, social, financial and spiritual aspects. Our integrated Family Recovery Program involves and supports families, while our expert clinical team prioritizes personalized care and tools for sustained recovery.

Our Youth
One out of 10 college students is a pathological gambler, according to one meta-analysis conducted by professors at the University of Buffalo, far higher than the 2-5% of the U.S. general population estimated to have a gambling problem. Other studies place the number of student gambling addicts lower, but still higher than the overall population of pathological gamblers.
The Solution
To establish a well-run, specialized inpatient center in NY State dedicated solely to helping individuals recover from gambling addiction in the long term. Concentrate on raising awareness and educate nationwide on the severity of gambling addiction, HGRC treatment and the solution.
The center will feature a total capacity of 20 beds, with 15 beds dedicated to men and 5 beds reserved for women. We will offer a comprehensive treatment approach that addresses the unique needs of individuals aged 18 and older.
Experienced clinical team will conduct thorough assessments encompassing physical and psychological evaluations, analysis of gambling behaviors, social and spiritual assessments, nutritional evaluations, educational background, financial and family histories.
Treatment plans integrate evidence-based practices and embrace the principles of the 12-Steps of Recovery. We utilize a range of therapeutic methods, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, 12-Step Facilitation, and other evidence-based approaches, to support individuals on their journey to recovery.
HGRC will provide comprehensive services, including medical/nursing management, nutrition/fitness services, and equine-assisted therapy. The goal is to equip individuals with the necessary tools and building blocks to embark on their recovery journey, addressing the obstacles and unmanageability in their lives.
